Sherry Dusky-Brallier

Sherry has been dancing since she was 8 years old. She became certified to teach from Dance Educators of America, Dance Masters of Pennsylvania and Dance Masters of America. Sherry is in good standing with these nationally recognized organizations.

Sherry’s extensive training started with many years of personal and class instruction from top professionals. In addition to this training, Sherry attended classes at Point Park College and has attended master classes given by famous choreographers. Her dance training is extensive and she strives to give the best instruction to her students.

Sherry’s primary focus is to give young students the best foundation for success with an emphasis on FUN! Sherry provides positive direction and guidance so her students can achieve their full potential. Her teaching methods are designed to build skills and instill confidence that will enhance every aspect of students’ lives. Inspiring them with positive experiences, fostering creativity and promoting a healthy lifestyle through fun, creative and educational classes.

Sherry teaches a variety of dance styles including jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, acrobatics and contortion acrobatics, specializing in private instruction. She has been teaching competitive and non-competitive students for over the past 35 years. With extensive studio and competition experience, her customized and creative routines have won numerous regional and national awards. >Her students have been recognized and received titles, scholarships, special awards, high scores and choreography awards on both regional and national levels. Many of her students are now teaching dance themselves.

In addition to teaching at studios, recreation centers and youth programs, Sherry has taught at the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts and the Community College of Allegheny County. Her students have been selected to attend Rogers Performing Arts Middle School, the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts. They’ve gone on to careers on Broadway, movies, television, Disney World, Las Vegas, commercials and many other venues. Her students have achieved top entertainment positions.
